Venus Mars Shoot

Travis and I got some new photos done for our duo Venus Mars. This was a hilarious shoot! We had heaps of fun going nuts, jumping around, jamming on the guitar and even found a random mop and ironing board to put into our photos....why I'm still not sure...but it was fun!
Thanks so much to designer Becky Chua, hair dresser and make-up artist Anthony Hungerford and of course the talented photographer Srdjan Nikolic!
Check out a few of the photos!

Ed Hardy Test

Here are some pictures from an in house model test shoot for Ed Hardy.
I was really surprised to see that the photographer was Srdjan who I had worked with before! It was cool to work with him again and made the shoot much more relaxed haha.
The Ed Hardy backdrop we were shooting against was pretty cool too. Lots of bright colours!

'It's Ok' music video shoot

Well I was pumped for this shoot because I got to drive in a pink 1957 Cadillac! AH!
The car came from a really nice guy called Matt who usually hires it out for weddings as an alternative to a limo.
Hair and make-up was by Lysha Marie and I got to have big lashes, liquid eyeliner flicks and a beehive! We wanted a 50's/60's vibe for it, so it reminded me a bit of 'I dream of Jeannie' (yes I watched 3 seasons of that show in a couple of weeks once...)Anyway the actual shoot was fun, we seem to get really lucky with weather because it was the only sunny day in the week! Exactly what happened with 'Electric.'
Was working with an actor which was good because we had to do a few scenes where we were fighting and making up and stuff. It was pretty funny because we didn't have anything to fight about so we were talking about dry chicken and the colour of money and ridiculous things like that. I hope no one can lip read that if it gets put in the clip haha!

Beach Shoot

This shoot was amazing! Even though it was so cold I would not have been surprised if the ocean froze over, I managed to suppress the shivering and shoot some beachy shots with up and coming photographer Chelsea Sipthorp. Was really fun working with a female photographer for once as usually I work with men behind the camera. At the end of the shoot we went into some long grass which was cool, not just because I felt like some kind of African lion haha, but because the grass was like a blanket and it was sooo warm compared to sitting half in the ocean.

Lloyd Ross Shoot

This was a really cool shoot! Got to do some fun different looks and the photographer and make-up artist were both really laid back and great to work with. Must say I'm a fan of Lloyd's signature lighting techniques. My favourite look was probably the old school bikini one. Check out the photos for yourselves. And on set behind the scenes...

Bridal Shoot

This was a shoot for wedding dresses custom designed by Maria Gonzalez. She was working with a bridal make-up agency to do a shoot which could be used by both parties.
I had SO much fun on this shoot! There were a couple of models at the shoot all getting different dresses and hair and make-up done for each set. Though of course it was all bridal, each girl looked totally different from all the others which was cool.
My first look was the softer traditional bridal look with curls and neutral make-up but then I got to do something a bit more dramatic.
There were two photographers, one doing more commercial style shots and one doing more creative fashion shots so we kind of went from station to station getting our hair, make-up and photos done.
Had so much fun playing dress ups! Though I did get stabbed by a few pins in the process haha.
Below are some of the fashion shots taken.

And some behind the scenes...
