Another Big Love Shoot

We're gonna be making out EPK soon so wanted lots of cool shots!
I got to wear some really cool clothes that the stylist brought me including a gorgeous black vintage dress.

Behind the Scenes at Chill On

Well this shoot was COLD but fun. It was at Chill On Ice Lounge which is kept at negative 10 degrees celcius and is full of beautiful ice sculptures. Everything is ice; the walls, the furniture, the bar and even the glasses you drink out of.
The shoot was of Anthony James from Big Love and myself for some publicity shots. We wanted something different to the usual band shots people take like standing next a wall or something boring haha so we chose the ice lounge!
You are supposed to wear big jackets and gloves in there but we wore normal clothes for the shoot so we were a bit chilly... My fingers felt like they were going to fall off!
The photographers were awesome! They made sure each shoot was quick and easy and got all the right shots so that we didn't get frostbite haha. Massive shout out to Taras Taraporvala (photographer) and James Thomas (assistant) for the shoot! Also to Chill On for letting us shoot there and Sher for getting me awesome clothes to wear. (Loved that leather skirt!)
Here is a little behind the scenes video. The song on it is a sneak preview demo version of our song Candyland. It's my favourite track and Anthony's least favourite of all our songs haha so see what you think.

Strawberries etc.

This was a test shoot with a photographer called Taras Taraporvala.
We did some fun shots with strawberries which was awesome because I got to eat them and I LOVE strawberries!
Next were some shots with a furry hat from Russia.We also did some wet bikini shots where water was sprayed all over me. It was kind of freezing and the eyeshadow started smudging but was definitely fun anyway. The last shots we did were behind this glass sprayed with water.The test shoot was fun because there was jut a few flexible ideas instead of a set brief and a client to please. That meant we could just play around and shoot whatever!

These girls will be in my new video for the song 'Boom' and will be coming on tour with me so we thought it was about time to do a promotional photo shoot with them!
Introducing Mikhaela, Andrea, Kara and Chloe!
At 9am we all headed to Glow Studios and went straight into hair and make-up. I brought some home made chocolate cookies to the shoot for the girls but our photographer Srdjan had already set up a whole bench full of lollies, croissants, jam donuts and other snacks! We had a feast!
For the shoot we did a couple of different looks.
First each girl wore a casual outfit and got head shots and body shots. There were heaps of clothes for us to choose from as Rhea, the designer from 'Die Pretty', had given us a whole range of stuff to mix and match with our own pieces. I did a runway for 'Die Pretty' in fashion week so I was so happy to wear the clothes again!
The next look was some sparkly outfits which will feature in the 'Boom' music video. The leggings from these were also by 'Die Pretty'. These were action shots so the girls were kicking and jumping in heels! AH!
I was quite happy I didn't have to do these crazy shots because I'm sure I would have fallen on my face...Chloe even put her heel through the concrete floor she was jumping so hard! But for the music video I will be dancing in heels so I better get used to it...
The last shots were group shots all together. That was really fun because we got to interact and do different formations.

Music Poster Photoshoot

Here is a photo shoot I did for music publicity stuff.
I don't know exactly what they'll be used for yet, I think posters and covers etc.
I have so many shots for you to see, I wonder which ones will get chosen?
The photographer was Jack Younger and we had a great hair and make-up artist called Layla who was lovely to work with.
I had to be careful not to pose too much like a fashion model with weird angles so the photos would be better to use for singing. It's actually much easier! haha.

Singing Shoot

I felt like a prom queen/rock star in this shoot haha! I wore one of my favourite dresses and had a microphone as a prop. It was actually fun shooting with the mic cause I could get tangly with the chords and sit on the box etc so was easier to be creative than if it's just you and a blank screen. I pulled all the pins out of my hair as I was driving home thinking that it would look normal again, but when I looked in the mirror I looked like a poodle because of all the hairspray haha.
